French Lemon Pie

Ingredients
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry pie crusts
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon peel
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- whipping cream
Recipe
- 1 line 9-inch pie plate with shell and flute edge.
- 2 in medium bowl, beat eggs well.
- 3 add corn syrup, lemon peel and juice and melted butter.
- 4 combine sugar and flour and stir into egg mixture.
- 5 pour into unbaked pastry shell.
- 6 bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
- 7 chill.
- 8 top with dollops of whipped cream to serve.
