French Lemon Pie

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry pie crusts
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon peel
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • whipping cream

Recipe

  • 1 line 9-inch pie plate with shell and flute edge.
  • 2 in medium bowl, beat eggs well.
  • 3 add corn syrup, lemon peel and juice and melted butter.
  • 4 combine sugar and flour and stir into egg mixture.
  • 5 pour into unbaked pastry shell.
  • 6 bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
  • 7 chill.
  • 8 top with dollops of whipped cream to serve.
