Chicken With Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons butter, divided
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 2 cups fresh sliced mushrooms
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Recipe
- 1 in lg skillet, heat 2 t butter on med-high.
- 2 brown chicken on both sides; cook until juices run clear.
- 3 remove and keep warm.
- 4 add remaining butter to skillet.
- 5 add mushrooms; cook and stir for 3 minutes.
- 6 stir in cornstarch, salt and pepper.
- 7 slowly add milk, stirring constantly; bring to a boil.
- 8 reduce heat; add lemon juice and worcestershire sauce; cook and stir for 1 minute.
- 9 add sour cream; heat through.
- 10 serve over chicken.
