- 1 pint dry red wine (700ml)
- 12 sugar cubes
- 6 whole cloves
- 1 pint boiling water (600 ml)
- 5 ounces triple sec (150ml)
- 5 ounces brandy (150ml)
- grated nutmeg
Recipe
- 1 heat the wine, sugar and cloves together until almost boiling. pour in the boiling water.
- 2 add the triple sec and the brandy. pour into heat-proof glasses and sprinkle with nutmeg.
