Green Beans With Tahini And Garlic

Ingredients

- 2 1/2 lbs green beans (fresh or frozen)
- 2 teaspoons salt, to taste
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons mustard seeds
- 8 -9 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 inch ginger, crushed
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 4 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Recipe
- 1 cut beans 1 inch long.
- 2 steam until crisp and tender, about 6-8 minutes.
- 3 heat oil in a skillet on medium heat and add mustard seeds.
- 4 when they pop, turn heat low and add garlic and ginger.
- 5 add rest of ingredients.
- 6 mix well and heat through.
- 7 serve warm, not hot.
