Ethel Sanderson’s Homemade Salami

Total Time: 25 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons morton's tender quick salt

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients.
  • 2 divide into two rolls.
  • 3 wrap in foil, and tie ends with string.
  • 4 refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • 5 put in pan, cover with water, and bring to a boil, and boil for 1 hour.
  • 6 take out and punch holes in foil.
  • 7 let drain.
  • 8 rewrap and refrigerate.
  • 9 slice and serve.
