Former "miss India" Manpreet Brar's Garlic Mushrooms

Ingredients
- Servings: 2
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons garlic, chopped
- 300 g mushrooms, washed and drained
- salt
- 1 tablespoon red wine (you could use sherry/dry wine as a substitute)
- fresh ground black pepper, to taste
- parsley, to garnish
Recipe
- 1 remove the stems of the mushrooms and keep aside.
- 2 heat oil in a pan.
- 3 add garlic and stir-fry till the raw smell is gone.
- 4 add mushrooms, salt to taste, red wine/sherry and mix well.
- 5 cover.
- 6 simmer on low flame for 20 minutes till the mushrooms are golden brown.
- 7 sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.
- 8 garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
- 9 serve immediately.
