Garides Saganaki (greek Shrimp With Feta)

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 3 lbs raw large shrimp
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- salt and pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 cups butter
- 1 lb feta cheese, crumbled
- 3/4 cup cream
- 1 cup chopped green onion
- 1 small tomato, chopped
Recipe
- 1 peel and devein shrimp.
- 2 sprinkle with lemon juice and garlic set aside.
- 3 melt butter in large skillet.
- 4 saute garlic green onion and tomato.
- 5 add shrimp and season with oregano salt and pepper to taste.
- 6 turn shrimp frequently and saute until pink.
- 7 add feta cheese and cream.
- 8 bring to boil and cook 3 to 4 minutes.
- 9 remove shrimp carefully to casserole.
- 10 spoon cheese mixture over shrimp.
- 11 serve with rice.
