Greek Style Beef Tenderloin

Ingredients

- 2 cups olive oil
- 4 ounces lemon juice, divided
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic cloves, divided
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano, divided
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 (9 -10 ounce) beef tenderloin, filets cleaned, butterflied, and scored
- 3/4 cup butter
Recipe
- 1 combine olive oil, 3 ounces lemon juice, 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic, 1 teaspoon oregano, salt and pepper to your taste, and the beef tenderloin in a zipper top bag.
- 2 allow meat to marinate 2-3 hours.
- 3 in a sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat and add remaining 1 ounce of lemon juice, 1/2 tablespoon garlic, and 1 teaspoon oregano, stirring well. set aside.
- 4 remove tenderloin from zipper top bag and discard marinade.
- 5 broil tenderloin for 10-15 minutes or until it reaches desired doneness.
- 6 top with warm butter sauce.
