Greek Seafood Marinade

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 3 tablespoons greek oregano, chopped
- 1 lemon, zested
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup ouzo
- salt and pepper, to taste
Recipe
- 1 heat the olive oil in small skillet over medium heat.
- 2 add garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes to infuse the garlic flavor in the oil.
- 3 remove from heat; cool.
- 4 combine the garlic mixture and all other ingredients in a small bowl.
- 5 marinate fish or shrimp in a zip lock bag for 3-4 hours.
