Chicken In Mustard And Wine Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 1/2 lbs chicken
  • 1 tablespoon vegeta
  • 2 -3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced thin
  • 3 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 3/4 cup dry wine
  • 1 1/2 cups leeks, sliced thin
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Recipe

  • 1 cut chicken into large pieces and season with vegeta.
  • 2 heat oil, in a large skillet, over medium high heat, and brown chicken on all sides; remove and set aside.
  • 3 reduce heat to low, saute green onions and garlic; add wine, return chicken, cover, and cook about 15 minutes.
  • 4 stir in leeks and cook another 10 minutes.
  • 5 remove from heat and stir in mustard, cream, and a little water, if necessary.
