Chicken In Wine

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup wine
  • cooking oil

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in a deep pan.
  • 2 add chicken breasts and brown slightly.
  • 3 separate breasts from pan into baking dish.
  • 4 saute garlic, flour and oregano in same pan.
  • 5 add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 6 stir in wine and pour over chicken.
  • 7 cover with foil and bake at at 175-200 c until chicken is tender.
