Chocolate Fondue A La Chalet Suisse

Ingredients

- 3 (3 ounce) toblerone chocolate bars
- 1/2 cup light cream or 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons kirsch or 2 tablespoons brandy or 2 tablespoons cointreau liqueur
- angel food cake or ladyfinger, cut in chunks
- oranges or tangerines, slides or strawberries or bananas or puff pastry
Recipe
- 1 break the toblerone into separate triangular pieces.
- 2 combine all the ingredients in a saucepan.
- 3 stir over *low* heat until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
- 4 serve in a chafing dish over low heat.
