Chocolate Fondue A La Chalet Suisse

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 (3 ounce) toblerone chocolate bars
  • 1/2 cup light cream or 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons kirsch or 2 tablespoons brandy or 2 tablespoons cointreau liqueur
  • angel food cake or ladyfinger, cut in chunks
  • oranges or tangerines, slides or strawberries or bananas or puff pastry

Recipe

  • 1 break the toblerone into separate triangular pieces.
  • 2 combine all the ingredients in a saucepan.
  • 3 stir over *low* heat until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  • 4 serve in a chafing dish over low heat.
