Devilled Chicken

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon english mustard powder
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 2 ounces butter
  • 2/3 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon curry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Recipe

  • 1 place the chicken portions on a board.
  • 2 mix the sugar, ginger, mustard and curry powder together.
  • 3 rub well into the surface of the chicken. leave for 2 hours.
  • 4 arrange the chicken on a grid in 2 roasting pans.
  • 5 melt the butter and brush all over the chicken.
  • 6 bake in a preheated moderately hot oven, 400°f for 30 minutes, until golden brown.
  • 7 mix the ketchup and sauces together and brush over the chicken portions.
  • 8 return to the oven for 10 minutes.
  • 9 arrange on a warmed serving dish and serve immediately.
