French Silk Pie

Ingredients
- 1 cup stick butter (not whipped butter, not margarine, it won't set up)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 ounces melted cooled unsweetened chocolate squares
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 eggs
- baked pie shell
- whipped cream (optional)
- sliced almonds (optional)
Recipe
- 1 cream butter. gradually add sugar. cream micture 10-15 minutes.
- 2 blend in chocolate, vanilla, and the eggs. must add eggs one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each (or see shortcut).
- 3 pour into baked pie shell. chill 2 hours.
- 4 garnish with whipped cream &/or almonds. again, the secret is in the beating - enjoy!
