Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 4 lbs chuck roast
- salt & pepper
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 8 gingersnaps
Recipe
- 1 sprinkle roast on all sides with salt & pepper.
- 2 place roast in crock pot.
- 3 add all other ingredients except gingersnaps.
- 4 cover and cook 5-6 hours on high, turning roast occasionally.
- 5 remove roast.
- 6 add crumbled gingersnaps to sauce in crockpot.
- 7 stir until sauce thickens.
- 8 slice meat and spoon sauce over slices.
