Ingredients

- 3 lbs red cabbage
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup red currant jelly
Recipe
- 1 shred cabbage. discard tough parts.
- 2 cook in butter, stirring for 3-4 minute.
- 3 add water, vinegar and sugar.
- 4 cover and simmer for 1 hours.
- 5 add jelly and salt and pepper to taste.
