Corned Beef And Cabbage

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 (2 1/2 lb) corned beef brisket
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons finely shredded orange rind
  • 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1 small cabbage, cut into 6 wedges

Recipe

  • 1 place onions in a 3 1/2-, 4-, 5-,or 6-quart crockery cooker.
  • 2 trim fat from brisket.
