German Rye Bread (abm)

Total Time: 3 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seed
  • 2 1/4 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups rye flour
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons molasses

Recipe

  • 1 put the ingredients in your bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. mine is liquids first.
  • 2 select cycle and press start!
  • 3 works well on a whole wheat cycle.
