Greek Mushrooms

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs medium mushrooms
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 12 peppercorns

Recipe

  • 1 clean and trim mushrooms.
  • 2 bring all ingredients (except mushrooms) to a boil and simmer 5 minutes.
  • 3 add mushrooms and simmer 10 minutes.
  • 4 cool. may be served at room temperature or reheated.
  • 5 best if made a day ahead.
