Delicious Apple Cake

Ingredients

• 150 g self raising flour
• 75 g butter
• 75 g sugar
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 large cooking apple
• 1 egg
• 1 -2 tablespoon milk

Recipe

• 1 warm oven gas 5 or 190°c.
• 2 prepare a sandwich tin with butter and flour.
• 3 place grease proof paper in the bottom for ease of removal.
• 4 sieve flour then rub in butter.
• 5 stir in sugar and cinnamon.
• 6 peel, core and dice the apple.
• 7 add to bowl and stir.
• 8 add beaten egg and mix until creamy.
• 9 add milk if necessary.
• 10 place mixture in the tin and dredge with sugar.
• 11 bake 30-40 minutes.
