Chicken A La Creme

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken tenderloins (i used regular chicken breasts and cubed them)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pint heavy cream

Recipe

  • 1 melt half of the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 2 season chicken tenders with salt and pepper, and saute them in butter until golden on all sides, about 10 minutes.
  • 3 add the remaining butter, reduce heat to medium, and cook for 5 more minutes.
  • 4 pour the heavy cream into the skillet, and simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened and chicken is cooked through.
  • 5 serve with fresh crusty french bread for sopping up the sauce.
