Chicken A La Creme

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken tenderloins (i used regular chicken breasts and cubed them)
- salt and pepper
- 1 pint heavy cream
Recipe
- 1 melt half of the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 2 season chicken tenders with salt and pepper, and saute them in butter until golden on all sides, about 10 minutes.
- 3 add the remaining butter, reduce heat to medium, and cook for 5 more minutes.
- 4 pour the heavy cream into the skillet, and simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened and chicken is cooked through.
- 5 serve with fresh crusty french bread for sopping up the sauce.
