Classic Welsh Rarebit

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons dry mustard
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 lb cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 tablespoons beer
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in top of double boiler.
- 2 add flour and dry mustard and mix.
- 3 gradually add milk, stirring until mixture thickens.
- 4 add worcestershire and cayenne pepper.
- 5 slowly add cheese and stir until melted.
- 6 add beer, stir and serve.
