Frikadeller - Meatballs With Salt Lamb

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 3/4 lb salt ground lamb (you can do this in the food processor)
  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1 hard crusted roll
  • 2 cups milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup cracker crumbs or 1 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup butter

Recipe

  • 1 mix onion with salt lamb and ground chuck.
  • 2 soak hard roll in milk.
  • 3 mix with the meats breaking up the roll to distribute through the mixture.
  • 4 beat 4 eggs and add to the meat mixture.
  • 5 shape into balls or small patties.
  • 6 beat remaining egg, mix with bread or cracker crumbs and coat the meat balls with this mixture.
  • 7 salt and pepper each meatball.
  • 8 fry in melted butter turning to brown on all sides evenly.
  • 9 serve with persille sauce (persille sauce - parsley sauce).
