Greek Traditional Fruit Sweets

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 lbs of any fruit, you like
  • 2 lbs sugar
  • 1 glass water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Recipe

  • 1 clean and pit fruits.
  • 2 from oranges, lemons etc you keep only the skin.
  • 3 bring sugar and water to a boil for 7-8 minutes until syrup is somewhat thick.add fruits ,add lemon juice simmer until syrup is thick and fruits are somewhat soft,let cool, put in a jar and turn upside down for 24 hours.
